Mercury sprung out of the way of an incoming fireball, rolling and standing once more, slightly off balance due to her missing boot. Perhaps using her boot as a missile had not been her best idea, especially considering it had not stopped Sailor Moon from using her crystal or passing out. One more failure for Mercury. But she did not have time to dwell on that, there was still a battle going on and now Venus and Moon were both in great danger. If the fire did not get them, surely the smoke inhalation would. Mercury could not help but think that Neptune's powers would have come in handy right about now, but since the violinist was not here it looked like it was up to the Senshi of Ice instead.
"Shine Aqua Illusion!" Mercury shot the attack at the fire surrounding Moon and Venus. |

Her hands gripped tightly on the steering wheel as she sped off to the directions of the Temple. Neko Tempura purred in her lap but the kitten was slightly ignored by the people in the car. Mostly because their thoughts were on the probability of what could have happened. The kitten did catch her attention when she felt it paw at her arm. She let one hand leave the steering wheel and unconsciously pet her.
As she turned to an abandoned alley (in order to take a short-cut) in her place sat the Senshi of Neptune. They were very close to the temple as she could feel the Ginzuishou's presence clearer. Curiously though the immense energy suddenly vanished. She worriedly cast a glance at Haruka. She prayed their Princess was okay. |

Oujou being mad was the understatement of the year. He was furious. The man glared at the two brothers who had bother to show up. "And where is Kashou? Why is he not here? Do you two know about this?" God, he wanted to murder like a country right now. It would be decidely deserving at least.
He gave an exasperated sigh, before continuing coldly, "The Ginzuishou is active. I saw it. It was too bright to locate it exactly but we should have found it by now. Do you all -want- death? That I may be but I am not particularly fond of dieing myself. The Ginzuishou spells our defeat. The Golden Crystal spells our victory. How much simplier can I make it!?"
"And WHERE is Kashou!?" |

Jupiter had no idea how to respond, or really much time to do so. One minute, they're fighting Rei's grandfather, the next, Moon is refusing to listen to Venus and then calling on the power of the Ginzuishou. Than things got even more confusing. Mercury throwing her...boot...at their princess, Mars killing the phage, Usagi passing out...
Having been about to go to her friend, Jupiter felt her eyes widden as something walked from the shadows.
"VENUS!" And there went the other blonde, and the person that had attacked her was stalking towards the two fallen senshi. Jumping in front of them, Jupiter glared before shooting off an attack.
"JUPITER OAK EVOLUTION!" |

Hotaru really would have died of embaressment if Haruka had picked her up. But obviously that soon was not of concern when Michiru showed up. The fact that Usagi was using the Ginzuishou was worrisome, hopefully they would not be too late.
As Michiru sped to the shrine, Hotaru was focusing on gathering her energy. No doubt she would be having to heal, especially if the Starlights were not there as well. She could do it, it would drain her, but she could still do it. But something in the air told her that this was more than the normal attacks. Why else would Usagi have called on the power of the Ginzuishou? |

Hiboshi had been watching the progress of the different diseases he had inplanted when he'd been called. The healing one was fully affected now. Foolish thing, did she think that she'd be able to fix this with her herbs? Her companions though...damn. They had the antidote. But so long as the healing one was out of the picture, Hiboshi did not care.
Hearing Oujou's yell, Hiboshi cringed. Honestly, what was going on now. Their take over had been working well. True they had yet to have the Ginzuishou nor the Golden Crystal, but there were many deaths. More plagues and wars, as well as senseless deaths.
Arriving to where his boss was, Hiboshi looked about. There was Mazushii....but no Kashou. Where had the brash one gone off to this time? |

Watching that entire scene play out had been absolutely delicious. The power from the Ginzuishou was truly astounding. Although what Kashou truly had enjoyed was the disagreements in regards to what to do. That had fueled him, especially when the Love Senshi started to anger. Of course, all good things must come to an end and it seemed that the girl with fire had gotten over her initial shock and attacked her grandfather. What a shame. And the Ginzuishou girl was down.
Stepping from where he'd been hiding, Kashou's eyes narrowed when Venus rushed to the fallen girl's side. No. She was getting in the way of him getting the Ginzuishou and finally proving his worth!! Might as well get rid of her now. Love, who needs it. Fireballs were so much fun. Especially at the backs of unsuspecting fools as Venus was. And hearing her scream had been marvelous. Too bad she had to fall atop the carrier of the Ginzuishou. Still making it difficult to get what he wanted, obviously. But no matter. These girls were no threat, and this was why Kashou started towards the two fallen blondes. |

The shoe thrown from Mercury hit her hand and she winced, almost dropping the Ginzuishou in the process. Usagi stared in disbelief at the color of the boot. It was Mercury's. Did she...did she really just throw that?! Nevermind. The monster being healed was more important. The hit to her hand had distracted her enough that Usagi didn't notice Mars preparing for her attack. It wasn't until the monster burst into flames that she finally took notice.
"M-Mars! No!"
Why had she done that? She was almost done! 'I know ..just know with a bit more power the..ginzuishou..would..have..' The glow of the ginzuishou died down as Usagi's eyes fell to half closed. She was dizzy and tired. Too much of her energy had been used. "Why...I..almost healed.." Usagi slipped from conciousness, collapsing on the floor, clutch the crystal tightly in her hand. Her fuku disappeared and it was replaced with her civilian clothes. |

As the battled seemed to linger on, Mars felt herself slipping into a daze. No, this was not happening. This was not a holy place being invaded by evil. This was not her home being torn apart. This was not her grandfather, the man who raised her from a small child, being posessed. This couldn't be happening. It couldn't be true. Mars had to hug herself to keep from shaking.
In the back of her mind she heard her friends yelling at Usagi but she couldn't make out the words. It wasn't until she saw the bright light from the ginzuishou that she snapped out of her trance and found herself in the very situation she was trying to deny the existance of. This was the shrine, this was her home, this was her grandfather. And nearby, that was her Princess using the energy vital to her life trying to save everything Rei held dear.
The Senshi of Flame looked to her Princess. There was no choice in this matter. She had a duty. She could not be Rei the priestess right now. She was Sailor Mars. No matter how horrific the consequences would turn out to be, her priority had to be her Princess. A flicker of fire sparked in her palm. "Mars.." she uttered under her breath, feeling the warmth of her power radiating from her hand. The flaming arrow took form as she extended her arm, its bow igniting around her. "..flame.." She took aim, pointing it at the only father she ever knew. There was nothing else that could be done. Her grandfather was already dead, and if they didn't do something, they could possibly lose their Princess in the process. No time for hesitating. "Sniper!" The arrow was released, and broke through the pure light from the ginzuishou to strike the phage and incinerate it into ash.
There was no time to grieve right then though. Somewhere, there was hell to pay. The one responsible for this had to die. |

Mazushii had been resting quietly in his room, as usual. Before that he was putting a few finishing touches on his plan to spread famine across Earth, starting in Tokyo as that was where their opposition was. He had picked a few key points and knew which Senshi to be his biggest threats, helping to plan accordingly. Once he'd finished, he felt justified in taking a snooze. That is, until the booming voice of his brother jolted him awake. Oujou did not sound happy, which meant hell for the rest of them.
Raising up, Mazushii took a few extra minutes to get himself into a standing position. On shaky legs, he lightly paced to where the voice came from. Was that shouting really necessary? No. But Mazushii did not question the matter. It was bad enough when Oujou was in a bad mood. Questioning it would certainly not help matters. |

Haruka had been tempted to pick up Hotaru and carry her. She could run at full speed that way at least. But it'd look rather odd seeing as her daughter was no longer a small child; not that she was heavy, but they'd attract a lot of attention. Not to mention, Haruka was pretty sure it would embarrass the poor girl to death if she did something like that. So, running at a quick pace would have to do for the time being. If her intuition was correct, the danger was at Hikawa Ginja, which wasn't far. Haruka hoped she was wrong, as she did not want to think about the possible victims that could have been attacked there.
The sound of a car catching up to them caught Haruka's attention momentarily. Michiru? Her eyebrow twitched momentarily. Was Michiru driving her car? She could twitch over that later. More important matters were at hand, as right then Haruka felt the large amount of pure energy being expelled, no doubt by the ginzuishou. Koneko-chan.. Haruka opened the door for Hotaru and quickly got in herself. "Go to the shrine. Usa is using the ginzuishou. There's not a second to spare," she said, shutting the door. |

Taiki quirked a brow before looking at the draught. Yaten usually explained the reason for the need to take a draught. The fact that she hadn't worried Taiki. Which meant something was really wrong. Shrugging she just took the draught, trusting Yaten. She winced at the taste but whatever.
The amethyst eyed Starlight returned to her desk and began with her research, wanting to come up with answers. She was getting close. From the attacks and what had been going on, she knew that the ones called the Four Horsemen, or at least people imitating them, were behind this. At least, that's what she'd come up so far. She sighed and continued. She was certain she'd go blind probably from all this reading. |

Unfortunately, they had been on Earth for long enough that she should be adjusted. At the question, Yaten merely shrugged.
"Take this." It wasn't an answer to the question, but Yaten was always one for avoiding such things if she could. Besides, she just needed to tell both her companions at the same time, it would be easier that way. Not like she really knew how she was going to do that. Coming right out and saying what was wrong might work for Taiki, but for Seiya? Yaten was getting a headache.
"I'll tell you and Seiya at the same time what's going on." And with that, Yaten turned and headed back to the kitchen to start her own draught. If Taiki wanted to sleep, let her. If she wanted answers, she'd get them. Besides, Seiya was playing one of her damn games, it wasn't like she was going to be willing to pay attention any time soon. |

Taiki lifted her head, blinking when she heard Yaten's voice then cough. She rose to her feet and stretched, her back popping. She walked to the door and opened it, looking at her short companion. "Yaten? You okay?" she inquired. She had noticed that Yaten hadn't been doing well but hadn't said anything. After all, it just could have been the fact that they were on Earth and it was Yaten still doing her best to adjust to life on Earth. But Taiki highly doubted that. |

Placing the vial down on the table beside Seiya, for no doubt her leader was going to ignore everything or brood, Yaten went back to the kitchen and grabbed another vial, heading for Trowa's door. Might as well tell both of them at the same time. Less explaining really. Letting out a breath, the empath made her way to Taiki's room and knocked on the door.
"I have a draught for you. We need to talk..." Or she could cough right then. Yeah, this needed to end. All Yaten could really do was hope that the draught she'd be making for herself would be enough to counter whatever was going on with her. That this was simply from someone at the clinic as opposed to the enemy. Because if the enemy were behind it, that would mean that there was probably magic involved, which would then mean that she would need Kakyuu's help. Not something Yaten wanted to go to her princess with, really. It would just heighten the sense of failure for not having been able to stop the freak before he got too close. |
